We are granting an additional year for you to prepare for this exceptional competition!

The Coutellia’s committee once again invites blacksmiths to participate in an international competition on Damascus steel in 2025. This extra time will allow upcoming teams to hone their skills, and our organizing team to better prepare for this next edition, with an even stronger international participation!

You can now form your team of 2 to 3 people and practice crafting a Damascus blade within a 3-hour time limit.

Exclusivity of Coutellia, the competition dedicated of Damascus doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Since its first edition, Coutellia, lets you discover the art of cutlery through events and hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world. From the demonstration of forging to the sharpening of knives and the manufacture of corkscrews, Coutellia has immersed you for years in a universe of know-how and cutlery tradition.

In 2022 and for the first time in the world, an art of forging and damask steel’s team competition, has been organized. The 32nd edition of Coutellia took place on 20 and 21 May 2023 and welcomed again the Damascus Wolrd Cup, an international team competition on Damascus steel.
